This wood crate is a fun & simple way to keep the kids school stuff all together.
Project Instructions»
Step 1 Prime the entire crate using white gesso. Let dry. Step 2 Spray paint the interior of the crate using the Liquitex® Spray Paint in Neutral Gray. Step 3 Paint the ends red using Chipotle and the slatted sides gray using Arrowhead. Let dry. Step 4 Cut white letters spelling “School Stuff”, 3¾" tall, from white cardstock, using the Cricut® machine and the font feature from the Birthday Bash cartridge. Adhere to crate using Mod Podge®. Let dry. Step 5 Using a straight edge, line it up with the slats and carefully cut away the parts of the letters that go over the open portions of the slats. Step 6 Using the end of a paintbrush, add white dots around the top using Wedding Cake paint.
