Attach handles to outside molding of wood frame. A drill and/or extra long screws may be required, depending on the frame and handles chosen.

Choose a color of construction paper to complement the scrapbook paper you have chosen. Using a ruler and pencil, mark lengthwise lines on the back of your sheet of construction paper, 1" apart. Cut out your 1" strips.

Glue your strips of cardstock at 1" intervals on top of your scrapbook paper.

Using your ruler and pencil and another sheet of the same color cardstock, cut two 2" strips of cardstock.

Glue one of these 2" strips of cardstock to the back of your scrapbook paper, with 1" hidden underneath the scrapbook paper, and 1" poking out (this should look like another solid stripe extended from the scrapbook paper).

Repeat on the other side with your other 2" strip of cardstock. Now, you should be left with a striped sheet that is 12"x14".

Open the back of the frame and take the face paper out. Use Scotch® tape to tape the paper into the opening. Line it up from the back and then look through the glass in the front to be sure it is straight.

Replace the back of your frame and enjoy!
