3rd row: K3. Purl to last 3 sts. K3.

4th and 5th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows. 6th row: As 2nd row.

7th row: With B, as 3rd row.

8th row: With B, purl.

9th row: With B, knit.

Rep 2nd to 9th rows for pat until work from beg measures approx 34" (86.5 cm), ending with 5th row.
