Step 1 Paint the outside of the flowerpot with red acrylic paint. It may take two coats. Let dry.

Step 2 From an old book page punch out small dots using the hole punch.

Step 3 Cut a 1/8" strip from an old book page.

Step 4 Turn the pot upside down. Coat the top half (outside) of the pot with Mod Podge®. Apply the dots in this area only. Make sure the dots are evenly spaced. Let dry.

Step 5 Coat bottom portion (outside ridge) of the bell with Mod Podge®. Center the 1/8" wide strip. Cut off excess. Let dry.

Step 6 Antique by brushing on and wiping off brown acrylic paint. Let dry.

Step 7 Form a 10" loop from the jute. Thread the looped end of the jute through the jingle bell opening at the top. Tie a slipknot to secure in place. Tie a regular knot about 2" up from the jingle bell.

Step 8 Thread the two loose ends of the jute through the bottom of the flowerpot then through the hole at the top of the flowerpot. Tie another knot at the top, next to the hole of the pot.

Step 9 Finish by tying the two loose ends of the jute together, creating a hanging loop.
