Step 1 In a well-ventilated area, place newspaper down to spray paint boxes white. *Boxes may need two or three coats of paint. Step 2 Spray paint the lids violet and let dry. Step 3 Measure the sides of each box and tear paper for each side, leaving as small border on each side. Step 4 Choose one color of spray paint for the papers on each box. Lay torn paper on newspaper. Arrange leaves or floral on paper and lightly spray paint. Rearrange some of the floral and spray again. Spray some areas a little heavier to create more interest. Let papers dry. Step 5 When boxes and papers are completely dry, use Mod Podge® or a spray adhesive to attach the paper to each box side. Step 6 Cut burlap ribbon into thinner strips and glue onto sides of the lids. Tie raffia around center of the burlap strip. *On the larger boxes you may have to tie raffia end to end to go around the box lids. Step 7 Attach a button embellishment to the knotted raffia. Step 8 Choose three Expression cards or your choice of embellishment. Trim two of the cards and ink the edges with a stamp pad. Attach cards to every other box with spray adhesive or a tape runner.
