Adults can have fun creating these polka-dot painted boxes using paint and sponge dabbers. Use these boxes for organization or pure inspiration in a child’s room.
Project Instructions»

Step 1 Paint the box lids white and let dry completely. Paint another coat onto the lids. Let dry.

Step 2 Paint three of the boxes pink and two of the boxes green. Let dry between coats. (Two or three coats of paint may be needed.) Paint the wood ball knob pink and let dry.

Step 3 Apply polka dots to the boxes with a sponge dabber. Let boxes dry completely.

Step 4 Cut 2" circles on the Cricut® using Accent Essentials cartridge and pink and light green cardstock. Cut 3" flowers on both colors of the cardstock. (You will need a total of five circles and five flowers. Use the inside portion of the cut flower for this project.)

Step 5 Ink the edges of the circles and flowers with an ink pad. Attach a pink circle to the center of the green flowers and a green circle to the pink flowers. Hot glue a wood owl to the center of four of the circles and the wood knob to the center of the fifth circle.

Step 6 Attach a 5/8" wide pink ribbon around the center of the four larger boxes with a tape runner or glue. Attach a thin pink or green ribbon to the center of the pink ribbon on the boxes.

Step 7 Hot glue a finished flower to the ribbon on the four larger boxes.

Step 8 Hot glue the flower with the wood knob to the center of the smallest box lid. Attach a 5/8" pink ribbon around the small lid and tie a thin ribbon around the center of the ribbon into a small bow.

Step 9 Trim out 1"x2" tags from white cardstock. Ink the edges with pink or light blue ink pads.

Step 10 Label the tags with a technical pen or stickers. Attach labels to each box, slightly tucked under the flowers. Refer to photo.
