Row 1: With CB chain 10, single crochet into 2nd chain from hook and into each chain across, turn (9 single crochets made).
Row 2: Ch 1, single crochet into first stitch, chain 1, skip next stitch, single in remaining stitches, work one extra single crochet in last stitch, turn (9 single crochets and 1 chain one space made)
Row 3: Ch 1, single crochet across to chain one space, chain 1, skip chain 1 space, single crochet in last stitch, turn.
Rows 4-7: Repeat Rows 2-3.

Round 2: With project lying horizontally, attach CA with a single crochet into back loop of the stitch in the approximate center of the row, work a single crochet into the back loop of each single crochet of previous round, making a chain 2 to turn each corner. Slip stitch into first single crochet. Fasten off CA.

Collar
With CB chain 120. Fasten off.

Assembly
Step 1 Weave chain in and out of chain 1 spaces along top of collar.
