Michaels bookstore.
Project Instructions»

Step 1 First sketch the wings as a long box, using two-point perspective as if looking down on the subject.

Step 2 Add lines for the basic structure of the fuselage and the point where the rudder and tail stop. These lines share the same perspective as the wings.

Step 3 Add boxes to indicate the placement of the wheels and engine area. Draw lines to better define the shapes of the rudder. Chisel out the fuselage and shorten the lower wingtips.

Step 4 Smooth out the lines of the wings and body and add details, including the ellipses of the wheels, engine compartment and propeller.

Step 5 Erase any unnecessary lines, and shade in the overall form. Make sure the lines shading the wings follow the same direction as the wings’ perspective. Add the darkest areas last, such as the shadow under the wings.
