Valentine Hearts and Roses Candy Plaque
Item# 33232Give your sweetheart a delicious, edible rose molded using Wilton® Candy Melts® candy. You can add this plaque to the top of a cake for an extra special Valentine treat.To make large heart plaque: melt Light Cocoa Candy Melts® candy according to package directions. Place largest heart cutter from set on cookie sheet. Pour melted Light Cocoa candy ¼" thick in cutter. Gently tap pan on a solid, flat surface to remove air bubbles. Chill until firm. Remove from cutter.
To make smaller heart plaque: Melt pink Candy Melts® candy according to package directions. Place third largest (3") heart cutter from set on cookie sheet. Pour melted pink candy ¼" thick into cutter. Gently tap pan on solid, flat surface to remove air bubbles. Chill until firm. Remove from cutter.
To make candy rosebud: melt dark green and red Candy Melts® candy, separately, according to package directions. Use melted dark green candy and a cut parchment bag to fill leaves in mold. Gently tap mold on solid, flat surface to remove air bubbles. Chill until firm. Use melted red candy and a cut parchment bag to fill rosebud in mold. Gently tap mold on a solid, flat surface to remove bubbles. Chill until firm. Unmold.
Assemble plaque. Use melted pink candy and a cut parchment bag to attach pink heart to chocolate heart and rosebud to center of pink heart. Chill until firm.
Add details. Use melted Light Cocoa candy and a cut parchment bag to attach a border of pink Sugar Pearls on edge of Light Cocoa heart. Use melted red candy and a cut parchment bag to pipe design on pink heart. Chill until firm.
