Bake cupcakes following recipe. Place baking cups from kit into standard muffin pan, and fill with batter. Bake and cool.
Prepare buttercream icing following recipe. Use tip 2A and icing to pipe swirls on tops of cupcakes.
Decorate cupcakes. Insert heart picks from kit for antennae; add icing decoration eyes. Cut black shoestring licorice and position for mouth and nose. Trim spice drops on an angle and attach with icing for feet.
Adult supervision is required at all times. Oven should only be used by an adult.
