Step: 1

LOG CABIN


Step: 2

Use Pinecone Brown to paint logs of cabin birdhouse that are visible on exterior; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 3

Use Daisy Cream to paint chimney and cut ends of logs; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 4

Use Sprout green to paint base and roof of birdhouse; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 5

Use thin layer of Woodland Brown and Pinecone Brown to paint rock shapes on sides of chimney; allow paint to dry.


Step: 6

For hanging sign on cabin, paint rectangle/sign with Holly Berry Red paint; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 7

Use Daisy Cream paint and liner brush to paint words on sign; allow paint to dry.


Step: 8

Cut an 8” length of jute; glue ends to back of sign ½” from upper corners.

TEEPEE


Step: 10

Glue top of small rose pot over bottom of large pot. Use Pinecone Brown to paint pots; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Woodland Brown paint to paint triangle for opening of teepee on front of bottom pot; paint tie pegs and allow paint to dry. Refer to photo for placement and glue round ends of tie pages to top of teepee.

Use Sprout Green to paint tree on upper pot and line pattern on base pot rim; allow paint to dry.


Step: 13

Use Fiesta Yellow to paint sunshine on upper pot and dots on base pot rim; allow paint to dry.


Step: 14

Use Holly Berry Red to paint center of sunshine and dots/line pattern around bottom of base rim; allow paint to dry.

Cut a 3 ½” x 4 ½” piece of suede for door flap; refer to photo for placement and glue one short end across top of triangle; lift up lower end and glue flap in place.

FEAST TABLE

For each table leg, glue end of two ¾” spools together; glue four legs to bottom corners of wood slat to form table.

Use Woodland Brown to paint table; allow paint to dry between coats.

To assemble body shape, glue rims of two large pots together. Glue flat end of doll head on bottom of one pot and sit body shape upright. For hat, glue small pot on top of head shape. For arms, glue one man/game piece on each side of pots near upper edge.

Use Woodland Brown to paint bottom pot and hat pot; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Pinecone Brown to paint shirt pot and sleeves; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Cloud White to paint collar of shirt; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Wrought Iron Black to paint upper body pot rim and a band above pot rim on hat; paint dots for buttons on front of shirt. Allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Fiesta Yellow to paint buckles on black bands; allow paint to dry.

For flesh color, mix 3 parts Daisy Cream to 1 part Tiger Lily Orange. Paint hands and head; allow paint to dry between coats.

For blushed cheeks, mix three parts Cloud White to 1 part Holly Berry Red and apply with spouncer brush; allow paint to dry.

Use Holly Berry Red with fine liner brush to paint mouth and strands of hair; use Woodland Brown to paint more strands of hair. Allow all paint to dry.

Glue 5 mm wiggle eyes on face.

PILGRIM WOMAN


Step: 42

Glue bases of two pots together. Glue rim of large pot over base of saucer. Glue toy wheel inside open end of top pot; glue doll head on center of toy wheel. For arms, glue one boy/game piece on each side of small pot just under rim.

Use Pinecone Brown to paint pots and sleeves; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 44

Use Woodland Brown to paint bottom saucer; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Cloud White to paint collar of dress and top rim of pot; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Wrought Iron Black to paint dots for buttons on front of dress; allow paint to dry between coats.


Step: 47

For flesh color, mix 3 parts Daisy Cream to 1 part Tiger Lily Orange. Paint hands, neck, and head; allow paint to dry between coats.

For blushed cheeks, mix three parts Cloud White to 1 part Holly Berry Red and apply with spouncer brush; allow paint to dry.

Use Holly Berry Red with fine liner brush to paint mouth. Use Pinecone Brown to paint hair. Allow all paint to dry.

Glue 5 mm wiggle eyes on face.

For scarf around head, measure and mark 3” from a corner on sides of white felt piece and cut out triangle shape from mark to mark. Refer to photo to glue long edge around head; fold down point of triangle and glue to back of head.

Glue pot over top of candle cup. Glue doll head on top of pot bottom. For arms, glue one spool on each side of pot, referring to photo for placement. For hands, glue a roundhead plug on end of each spool.

Use Woodland Brown to paint candle cup base; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Pinecone Brown to paint pot and arms; allow paint to dry between coats.

For flesh color, mix 3 parts Daisy Cream to 1 part Tiger Lily Orange. Paint hands and head; allow paint to dry between coats.

For blushed cheeks, mix three parts Cloud White to 1 part Holly Berry Red and apply with spouncer brush; allow paint to dry.

Use Holly Berry Red with fine liner brush to paint mouth. Use Pinecone Brown to paint hair. Allow all paint to dry.

Use Cloud White to paint collar of dress and use Wrought Iron Black to paint dots for buttons on front of dress; allow paint to dry between coats.

Mix 2 parts Pinecone Brown with 2 parts Fiesta Yellow and 1 part Cloud white. Paint upper pot and sleeves; paint stripes for fringe on rim of bottom pot.

For flesh color, mix 1 part Holly Berry Red with 1 part Woodland Brown. Use mixture to paint head and arms.

For blushed cheeks, use Holly Berry Red and apply with spouncer brush; allow paint to dry.

Use Wrought Iron Black with fine liner brush to paint mouth; allow all paint to dry.

Refer to photo and use Holly Berry Red and Sprout Green to paint pattern on clothing at neckline.

For hair, cut six 9” lengths of yarn and glue center of pieces across top center of head; braid yarn ends at each side of head, glue ends in place on chest.

Trim a feather to size and glue to back of head. For headband, cut an 8” length of leather lace and glue center at forehead. Tie ends at back of head and glue in place; trim ends of leather lace.

Cut a 1 ¼” x 1 ½” piece of suede for flap and glue top edge of suede at center front over top rim. Wrap leather lace around rim of pot and cut to fit; glue in place along top edge of rims over suede.

For turkey body, Glue candle cup rim over one heart shape. Glue cork at edge of candle cup bottom. Glue bead on top of cork end. Glue pot on top of bead for hat. Put a dab of glue and pull away to form beak shape on center of face.

Use Pinecone Brown to paint two remaining heart shapes; allow paint to dry between coats.

Use Tiger Lily Orange to paint tie peg; use Daisy Cream to paint rectangle. Allow paint to dry between coats.

For sign, glue center of rectangle over tie peg with top of rectangle just below rounded end. Use Wrought Iron Black with fine liner brush to paint words; allow paint to dry.

Use Woodland Brown to paint turkey body.

Use Holly Berry Red to paint three picket stakes. Use Petunia Purple to paint two picket stakes. Use Fiesta Yellow to paint two picket stakes, beak, and the heart for feet.

For Turkey tail, glue picket stakes to circle with pointed ends on circle and meeting at sides to form fan shape. Glue circle of tail section to back of turkey body.

Glue sign to front of turkey between wing and chest; glue 4mm wiggle eyes on face.
