Hanukkah Card

Wish your loved ones a Happy Hanukkah with this elegant card, made with the Cricut Expression machine.

Cut one 10-inch x 5¾-inch block of blue cardstock. Fold at 4½-inches along the long side. Cut one 9½-inch x 5¼-inch block of white cardstock. Fold at 4¼-inches along the long side. The back pieces should be longer than the front pieces.
Step: 2
Mark blue block ¼-inch from top and bottom at fold. Use a paper trimmer to cut a slit at the crease between the two marks. Slide back piece of white block through slit.
Step: 3
Cut Star of David. Using Wild Card cartridge and blue cardstock, select Icon feature and cut three 2-inch <Hanukkah>. Use spray paint on two stars. Let dry.
Step: 4
Thread ribbon through centers of stars. Adhere stars to each other as shown. Adhere stars to card as shown, leaving ribbon able to slide back and forth. Tie a bow on right hand edge of card.
Step: 5
Cut one 3-inch x 4-inch block of blue cardstock. Coat with spray paint. Let dry. Cut one 2½-inch x 3½-inch block of blue cardstock. Layer blocks and adhere to card using mounting squares.
Step: 6
Cut Happy Hanukkah. Using blue cardstock, select Phrase mode, press Shift, and cut one 7-inch <Hanuka-s>. Coat with spray paint. Let dry. Adhere to layered blocks as shown.
