Shabby Chic Paper Pomander
Item# e09866Whether you’re in need of a unique holiday ornament or a contemporary accent for the home, repurpose old book pages into a paper pomander that’s pure magic! Designed by Tami Comer.
Using a paper cutter or scissors, measure and cut ¾” x 3 ½” strips from aged book pages. Cut enough to cover a 2” diameter Styrofoam ball.

Make a shallow hole in the Styrofoam ball. Make a loop with the 12” piece of jute. Hot-glue the jute loop in the hole. This will be the top of your hanging Pomander.

Take one strip of ¾” x 3 ½” paper and fold it in half length-wise. Next fold the paper in half width wise. Pinch together the folded edge then fold up about 1/8 of an inch. This will make it easy to glue the Styrofoam ball.

Put a spot of glue on the folded strip of paper.

Glue the folded paper strip to the top of the Styrofoam ball making sure to start close to the jute loop. Continue around the ball. Glue each strip as close as possible for a full effect.

Glue the crystal pendant to the bottom of the pomander.
