Glitter Tube Butterflies

Kids will love making these sparkly glitter tube butterflies!

Materials

  • Creatology™ Foam Shapes – Butterfly Wings
  • Creatology™ Glitter Tube – Peacock
  • Creatology™ Glitter Tube – Petal Pink
  • Creatology™ Chenille Pipe Cleaners
  • Creatology™ Glitter Pom Poms
  • Creatology™ Wiggle Eyes
  • Creatology™ Craft Glue
  • Styrofoam Ball, 4.4 cm (1¾") (2)
  • Pom Pom, Tiny (2)
  • Ribbon
  • Paintbrush (or Craft Stick)
  • Scissors

Instructions

Step 1
Remove label from glitter tube.

Step 2
 Apply glue to Styrofoam® ball and apply glitter. Let dry.

Step 3
Attach pom poms to chenille stem pieces and put into top of head.

Step 4
Glue on wiggle eyes. Add tiny pom pom for nose.

Step 5
 Cover glitter tube top with glitter.

Step 6
Trim one butterfly foam shape to overlap a different colour butterfly foam shape and glue the two together.

Step 7
Glitter the wings and glue to the tube body.

Step 8
Add bow for boy or girls and decorate tube as desired.

Tips

Use a paintbrush or craft stick to spread glue.

Apply glitter over a paper plate so leftovers can be re-used.
