Autumn Mum Floral Arrangement

Materials

  • Excelsior (or Spanish Moss) - Brown
  • Oval Glass Container
  • Fall Floral Bushes - Mum (2)
  • Fall Bushes - Berry and Wheat
  • Floral Foam
  • Kitchen Knife
  • Low Heat Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Floral Wire Cutters

Instructions

Step 1
Cut floral foam into a shape that is roughly 2.5cm (1") shorter in height and 2.5-5.1cm (1-2") narrower in width than the container.

Step 2
Glue foam to bottom of container.

Step 3
Cut mum bushes into stems and arrange mums in a cluster at the front center of the container. Keep adding mums until you have as many as you like. Secure into foam with glue.

Step 4
Cut the wheat bush into two smaller bushes. Insert into arrangement on each end. Use photo for reference. Secure into foam with glue.

Step 5
Cut the berry bush into two halves. Insert them into arrangement between wheat and mum bushes.

Step 6
Fill the gap between the foam and the container with the brown excelsior.

Step 7
Fluff arrangement to fill in any holes.
