Layered Wood Frame

Materials

  • Art Minds™ Wooden Frame, 20.3 cm x 20.3 cm (8"x8")
  • Wood Frame, Laser Cut, 15.2 cm x 15.2 cm (6"x6")
  • Craft Smart® Acrylic Paint – Dark Grey and Orange
  • Recollections® Scrapbook Paper – Design of Choice
  • Recollections™ Bling on a Roll
  • Plaid® Mod Podge®
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Craft Smart® Glue

Instructions

Step 1
Remove backing from wooden frame, paint grey, let dry.

Step 2
Trace frame onto paper, including the centre opening.

Step 3
Cut out paper piece.

Step 4
Use brush to paint Mod Podge® onto wooden frame and back of paper.

Step 5
Place on frame, smoothing out the wrinkles. Let dry.

Step 6
Add second coat of Mod Podge®, and let dry.

Step 7
Paint laser cut frame, let dry.

Step 8
Glue laser cut frame to wooden frame. Let dry.

Step 9
 Add rhinestones as desired.
