Materials

  • Wilton® 26.7cm x 39.4cm x 2.5cm (10.5" x 15.5" x 1") Jelly Roll/Cookie Pan
  • Wilton® Christmas Candy Making Kit (candy molds, Light Cocoa, White, Red and Green Candy used; additional candy may be needed depending on number of treats made)
  • Wilton® Black Candy Melts® candy
  • Wilton® Light Cocoa Candy Melts® candy
  • Wilton® 38.1cm (15") Parchment Triangles
  • Wilton® Round Comfort Grip Cutter

Instructions

Step 1
Melt Candy Melts candy according to package directions. To make candy base, place round cutter in jelly roll pan. Fill 0.95cm (3/8 in.) deep with melted light cocoa candy. Tap to settle; chill until firm. Release cutter from candy base.

Step 2
Mold Santa using mold from kit without lollipop sticks. Use melted black candy in cut parchment bag to pipe boots and eyes. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 3
Add a little melted red candy to white for skin tone shown. Use melted skin tone candy in cut parchment bag to pipe face. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 4
Use melted green candy in cut parchment bag to pipe mittens. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 5
Use melted white candy in cut parchment bag to pipe coat and hat trim, beard, mustache and eyebrows. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 6
Fill remainder of mold with melted red candy. Tap to settle; chill until firm. Unmold.

Step 7
Mold tree using mold from kit without lollipop sticks. Use melted red candy in cut parchment bag to pipe ornaments. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 8
Use melted light cocoa candy in cut disposable bag to pipe trunk. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 9
Use melted white candy in cut parchment bag to pipe garland and star. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 10
Fill remainder of mold with melted green candy. Tap to settle; chill until firm. Unmold.

Step 11
Use melted white candy in cut parchment bag to cover top of candy base, letting some candy drip from side. Immediately position Santa and tree candies; hold in place until set.

Tips

Adult supervision is required at all times. Oven should only be used by an adult.
