Instructions

Step 1
Use a 4¼"x11" piece of white cardstock and fold it in half. Then fold up half of the face of the card. The bottom of the card should touch the top of the card when it is folded. You could do it a few millimeters lower.

Step 2
Take a 10.8 cm x 14 cm (4¼"x5½") piece of white cardstock and using the MONO Adhesive Dots, glue the top half of the paper to the piece that is folded up. It will look like a "Z".

Step 3
Using the kraft cardstock, make the mat at 10.5 cm x 13.7 cm (4-1/8"x5-3/8"). The base that will hold the top of the card like an easel will measure 10.5 cm x 3.1 cm (4-1/8"x1¼").

Step 4
The patterned paper base will measure 10 cm x 13.3 cm (3-15/16"x5¼") and the base will be 10 cm x 2.8 cm (3-15/16"x1-1/8"). Cut one stripe at 2.5 cm x 13.3 cm (1"x5¼") -- and now that you have all those pieces use the distressing tool to distress them.

Step 5
To make the little banners cut 1.43 cm x 2.2 cm (9/16"x7/8") rectangles and then cut a triangle at the bottom. Using the Tombow® MONO Adhesive Dots, glue the patterned papers on the mats, but DON’T glue them to the card yet!

Step 6
If you would like, you can use a sewing machine to sew the edges of the paper. Cut one of the jars from the patterned paper from Recollections® Neapolitan paper pad.

Step 7
With the MONO Adhesive Dots, glue the doily down and then using twine or embroidery floss go around the paper (this is why you shouldn’t glue the papers to the card until this part is done). After that, using two strings of twine, make a little bow. But, you can glue the little bow down with the Tombow® MONO multi-liquid glue AFTER you glue the jar with the Tombow® Power Tabs.

Step 8
Now using the Recollections™ small flower punch make ten little flowers. Six will go in the banner, three in the jar along with little hearts punched out with a Recollections™ small heart punch and the last one on the base that holds the card up.

Step 9
Pair up three sets of hearts and flowers and distribute them inside the jar. The Tombow® MONO multi-liquid fine tip is perfect for this kind of small punches. After gluing the flowers on the banner use the Recollections™ adhesive pearls. Then go to the base that holds the card and write your sentiment using Recollections™ alpha stickers. Make a flower using punches or just use a regular flower and attach it to that base.

Step 10
Glue the base to the inside of the card using the Tombow® Power Tabs. The lift will help the top part hold up.

Step 11
At last you can add a little of Glossy Accents™ to the heart and the lid of the jar and let them dry.
