Indoor Camping Lanterns

Use these easy to make lanterns to wander around the "woods" at night. Use different colours of tissue so each lantern gives off a different glow.

Materials

  • Celebrate It™ Gift Container with Opener
  • ArtMinds™ Art Tissue
  • ArtMinds™ Decoupage Glue Sealer
  • Flameless Tea Light
  • Bead Landing™ Jute Cording
  • ArtMinds™ Adhesive Dots
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors

Instructions

Step 1
Crush up a piece of ArtMinds™ Art Tissue Paper. Slightly flatten out.

Step 2
Decoupage the one sheet to the Celebrate It™ Gift Container. Keep the creases in the tissue paper when gluing to the container. Let dry.

Step 3
Cut off any excess paper on the top and bottom of the container.

Step 4
Tie pieces of jute around the top of the containers.

Step 5
 Turn on a flameless tea light and use a glue dot to attach to the bottom of the container.

Step 6
String on jute or ribbon of choice and hang to decorate.
