Spring Ribbon Pillow

Materials

  • Poly-fil®
  • Celebrate It® Grosgrain Ribbon, 3.8 cm (1½")
  • Celebrate It® Satin Ribbons – Dot and Print
  • Creatology™ Felt Yard Pack – White
  • Needle and Thread
  • Sewing Machine
  • Double-sided Fabric Tape
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Pins

Instructions

Step 1
Determine the size of your pillow.

Step 2
Cut felt to pillow size.

Step 3
Lay your ribbons out on table, having them cut to correct length for your pillow.

Step 4
Tape ribbons down at top. Begin to weave your other ribbons through top ones.

Step 5
Complete your weave, using fabric tape to hold ribbons together.

Step 6
Layer your right side of woven piece on top of felt, face down.

Step 7
Pin together and sew around 3½ sides.

Step 8
 Turn right side out, stuff with filling and hand stitch opening closed.
