Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
St = Stitch

 

Purse Panels (Make 2)

Ch 30.

Row 1: DC in second ch from hook. This counts as your first DC. DC in each ch across. 28 DCs.

Rows 2-13: Ch 2 and turn. This counts as first DC. Skip first st and DC in each stitch across. 28 DCs.

Tie off and tuck in tails.

Flap

Attach Yarn to top of one panel.

Row 1: Ch 2. This counts as first DC. Skip first st and DC in each stitch across. 28 DCs.

Rows 2-4: Ch 2 and turn. This counts as first DC. Skip first st and DC in each stitch across. 28 DCs.

Row 5: Ch 2 and turn. DC 4 in first st. Skip next st SC in next and skip next. *5 DC in next st, skip one st, SC in next, and skip next* Repeat to end of row.

Tie off and tuck in tails.

Assembly

Step 1
Lay panels together to create purse. Use stitch markers, if desired, to hold panels in place.

Step 2
Tie on yarn and SC around, attaching the sides and bottom. Leave the top open for the flap to fold over.

Step 3
Attach the two chains together with a jump ring at the opposite end of the lobster claw clasp that is included with the necklace.

Step 4
Attach chain to the purse with lobster claw clasp.
