Rub Archival Inks™ pad (sepia) directly on inside of Texture Fade folder.
Tear 2.5 cm (1") off the bottom of a #8 manila tag.
Place #8 tag in Texture folder -- “Woodgrain” -- and run through Vagabond Machine to make impression on tag.
Ink edges of tag with Ink Blending Tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Adhere a 6.6 x 10.2 cm (2-5/8"x4") piece of patterned paper to tag.
Stitch around paper edge with sewing machine.
Lightly spray crinkle ribbon with water from a Mini Mister.
Squeeze and pounce Broken China Distress Stain onto non-stick craft sheet.
Gather crinkle ribbon into ball and begin soaking up the stain, turning over and over until saturated (you can add more water if necessary).
Once dry, thread crinkle ribbon into word band loop and wrap around burlap canvas, ending with a bow.
Create the bird shape from the second #8 tag and the Sizzix® Bigz™ Die, Caged Bird.
Pounce Distress Stain -- Broken China onto non-stick craft sheet. Mist stain with water, then dip the bird body into the liquid. Repeat steps with Vintage Photo distress stain to colour the branch below the bird. Set aside to dry.
Once dry, add bird to tag with foam tape.
Adhere metal wing to bird body with a strong glue.
Add words, using Alpha Parts and Remnant Rubs.
