Place shirt on a flat work surface. Smooth shirt out as flat as possible.
Use pencil to trace maple leaf onto freezer paper. Use craft knife to cut out to create stencil.
Place leaf on T-shirt in desired location and secure stencil with iron.
Place a piece of freezer paper over entire body of T-shirt. DO NOT IRON ON.
Retrace maple leaf onto this piece of freezer paper. Draw lines starting from the outside edges to the centre of the maple leaf toward the edge of the shirt. Make each line wider on the outside edges and narrower toward the centre/leaf. Refer to photo.
Remove freezer paper and cut out every other beam and around retraced maple leaf. Colour in every other beam with your pencil to indicate which lines to cut out.
Remove first maple leaf stencil from T-shirt.
Place new stencil with beam lines on T-shirt and iron onto T-shirt.
Insert a shirt board inside layers of shirt. Cover any other exposed areas of T-shirt. Place on a flat covered surface and spray with Snow Fabric Spray Paint. Apply as many coats as desired. Allow each layer to dry before applying the next.
Remove stencil and apply Glittering Diamond fabric spray paint over entire shirt.
Use White dimensional fabric paint to outline maple leaf. Let dry.
