Sweet Treats Party Cake

Use the Wilton® Ribbon Fondant Cutter to make this a quick, easy and fun party cake! Decorate your tray with decorative craft tape and add more flair to your quick and simple project.

Step 1
Bake, frost, and cover with fondant a cake according to the instructions for Wilton® Covering Round Cakes with Fondant Technique found here.

Step 2
Roll out the red fondant to 0.32 cm (1/8") thickness.

Step 3
Use the zigzag cutting wheel and space out the wheels with the three 2.5 cm (1”) spacers.

Step 4
Cut four ribbons of red fondant.

Step 5
Trim the edges with the scissors from the tool set.

Step 6
Attach the ribbons to the cake with water. Have all four ribbons meet in the middle of the top of the cake.

Step 7
Cut out a 5.1 cm (2") round from the red fondant and apply to the top of the cake where the ribbons meet.

Step 8
Embellish with paper shapes for a festive finish.
