SIZE: About 3½"x60" (9cm x 152.5cm), not including fringe.
GAUGE: 18 sts + 16 rows = 4" (10cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to match the gauge, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
1. Scarf is worked lengthwise with fringe worked as part of the Scarf.
2. Colour is changed on every other row. To change colour, work last st of old colour to last yarn over. Yarn over with new colour and draw through all loops to complete the st. Fasten off old colour.
