Materials

  • Celebrate It Medium Craft Bag with handle: Hot Pink
  • Creatology® Glitter Chenille Stem
  • Creatology® Glitter Foam Stickers: Hearts
  • Creatology® Foam Shapes: Hearts
  • Glitter Glue: Purple
  • Blunt Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue Stick

Instructions

Step 1
Use glitter glue to personalize the foam heart stickers with your name (see Project Tip if your name is too long to fit in the space). Let dry completely.

Step 2
Fold the glitter chenille stem in half and twist to form antenna as shown.

Step 3
Peel and stick the first heart letter placing the chenille stem behind the sticker and then onto the bag. Repeat until the name is formed as shown, creating the butterfly’s body.

Step 4
Glue the foam heart shapes to the sides for wings as shown.

Step 5
Fold a contrasting coloured foam heart shape in half and cut a heart into the center. Use the outer piece left to glue to a wing as shown. Repeat for the other wing.

 

Tips

Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.

If your name is too long to fit onto the bag, think about spelling out “Love” or “Be Mine” instead.
