Project Instructions
Step 1 Pre-wash and dry T-shirt to remove sizing. Insert cardboard inside shirt to prevent paint seepage and place on a flat surface.
Step 2 Tape off a rectangle in the center of the shirt using painter’s tape.
Step 3 Remove backing from pink ribbon stencil and place on top left corner of taped off section.
Step 4 Squeeze Petal Pink Soft® paint onto paper plate.
Step 5 Dip sponge into Petal Pink, tap off excess and apply to stencil openings.
Step 6 Remove stencil, place next to first design and repeat process until entire taped off section is covered with pink ribbon designs. Let dry and remove painter’s tape.
Step 7 Gently run painter’s tape along outside edge of pink ribbon rectangles. This will give you a guideline to create wording.
Step 8 If desired, use a grey chalk pencil to write the words “Valley Hill Run” along the (taped off) outside edges of the ribbon designs. Trace with Black Slick dimensional fabric paint. Let dry.
Step 9 Slide the “ONE HILL AT A TIME” template under front of shirt, aligning within center of pink ribbon designs. Trace over wording with Black Slick paint. Let dry.
