E-Z BOW MAKER FLORAL BOW

Make professional looking bows with the E-Z Bowmaker available at Michaels. This bow can be made with six yards of 1-7/16" or 2-5/8" ribbon. You may decrease the yardage if you are using wired ribbon or increase it if the ribbon is a very thin ribbon such as Lamé. These instructions are for an 8" bow with 8" streamers.

This is also an excellent bow to use when wrapping packages. The following diagrams include 8 easy steps.

Step 1. Place a 16" piece of medium gauge wire between the dowels. Place ribbon between the two large dowels sideways.

For streamer, measure the cut end of ribbon to 8 inches and twist a 1/2 turn at bottom of dowels.

Step 2. Measure ribbon to 4 inches then fold back toward dowels (don't crease) to form a loop. Insert ribbon 1/2 turn.

Step 3. Measure to 4 inches on opposite side and repeat the process in Step 2. Continue process until you have completed 8 loops on each side of measuring base.
