Material List
- Acrylic Paint – Green, White and Brown
- Glue
- Paintbrushes
- Water
- Epsom Salt
- Wooden Christmas Tree Ornaments
- Paint Markers (Optional)
Project Instructions
Step 1 Paint tree with green paint. While slightly wet, drag small touches of white paint through the green to create variations in the surface color. Allow to dry.
Step 2 Paint tree trunk brown. Allow to dry.
Step 3 Using white paint, apply thick, uneven layers to the “edges” of the tree branches to create “snow”. Allow to dry.
Step 4 Apply a thin layer of glue to the white layers of paint and sprinkle with Epsom salt to create a frosted effect. Allow to dry and shake off excess snow.
