Instructions Print

Step 1
Measure chain to 18-20" and remove the extra links.
Step 2
Measure about 5' of paracord. Fold the paracord in half, finding the middle.
Step 3
Count 16-18 links from one end of the chain and insert the folded part of the paracord through that link. Thread the loose ends of the paracord through the folded portion and pull tight, securing it onto the link.

NOTE: You will have two cords, one on either side of the chain.
Step 4
Bring one of the lengths of paracord up and cross the chain horizontally in front, making a loop on one side. Wrap the other long end of the paracord around the first long paracord length, on the opposite side of the loop, and insert the end of the second length of paracord through the loop of the first piece of the paracord. Pull tight, keeping the chain in the middle. Repeat the braid, always keeping the chain in the middle and braiding over it. Continue until you have braided 4-6".
Step 5
Trim the ends of the paracord to about 2". Finish by tucking the ends under the braid on the back and pulling through, using the pliers. Trim flush and seal with Krazy Glue® to prevent unraveling.
Step 6
Add the closure to the ends of the chain. Attach a jump ring to each end of the chain, then attach closure.
