- Jerzees® T-shirt – Cyber Pink and Kiwi Green
- Americana® Stencil – Peace Signs
- Tulip® Soft Paint – Azalea Matte
- Scissors
- Pouncer
Project Instructions
Step 1
Lay T-shirt flat and iron if needed.
Step 2
Cut a straight line across T-shirt under the arm hole. You will need the bottom tube of the shirt. Discard the upper part.
Step 3
Turn inside and out and smooth flat.
Step 4
Use the Peel 'n Stick tape close to the cut end. After taping turn T-shirt tube the correct way. Set aside.
Step 5
Stencil on one side of the T-shirt and let dry. See photo.
Step 6
Repeat the Peel 'n Stick technique to the other T-shirt.
Step 7
Cut off the hems on both T-shirts and begin to cut 1"x6" strips across the T-shirts.
Step 8
Pull strips of T-shirt to create strings.
Step 9
Pull one T-shirt over the pillow form. Pull the other T-shirt over the pillow form and begin to tie the stripes together with a double knot.
Step 10
Adjust knots across pillow to allow fringe to hang appropriately.
