Project Instructions

Step 1

Mask corkboard frame with tape. Use flat brush to base coat the cork with Chocolate Bar. Let dry.

Step 2

Use the ruler and craft knife to cut width of tape to ¼". Position corkboard horizontally, tape off seven evenly spaced columns down the cork then tape off five evenly spaced rows to create 35 even squares. Apply spouncer tops to Parrot Blue, Kiwi, Pumpkin Orange and Pink Parfait paint bottles then use to paint every other square in desired colors. Let paint dry then remove tape.

Step 3

Use craft knife to cut seven 2½" diameter circles of black craft foam. Use stencil brush to stencil each with a letter for each day of the week. Add Chocolate Bar dots around the outside edge of each circle using the handle end of a paintbrush, let dry. Attach lettered circles to corkboard frame above each column with hot glue.

Step 4

For thumbtack dates, use craft knife to cut four 2½" squares of black craft foam. Stencil each with a different number in Parrot Blue. Let dry. Cut four 2" squares of foam board, glue to back of each stenciled square then glue the head of thumbtack to the foam board.

Step 5

For thumbtack flowers, trace the three flowers and three circles onto different colors of craft foam. Cut shapes from craft sheets, layer flower of circle and secure with hot glue. Attach foam spouncer top to Chocolate Bar paint bottle then apply a circle to center of each flower. Use handle end of paintbrush to add dots around edge of circle in Parrot Blue. Glue the head of thumbtack to the back of each flower.
