Pilot® FriXion® Colors Erasable Marker Pen

I discovered FriXion ® erasable pens for school several years ago and loved them so much, I scoured the web and found tons of colors and variety of erasable pens for school. I had been warned about getting finished papers and projects hot (NOT cold as one crafter was told) or the ink would disappear and I was extremely careful not to leave my school work in the car for that reason and never had any trouble. I've been out for nearly 2 years now, only stored my stuff in an air-conditioned home office, but it gets about 78 degrees inside for a few hours  during the summer. In the last week I found a notebook where several pages were just gone and several more extremely faded. I was told you are able to put the paper in the freezer if you notice right away the ink has faded...user had left documents on the dashboard... but I didn't have any luck at all with recovery once faded/erased by external heat.

DO NOT USE THESE FOR PROJECTS, DOCUMENTS, ASSIGNMENTS YOU WANT/MUST KEEP!!!!

I still use these pens all the time, but I learned my lesson the really, really hard way...and now have a year of laboratory work in my hardback lab notebook that is just gone.

I love them, but did read a warning on a group page that the FriXion pens, markers and highlighters will disappear when cold! They warned NEVER to use them on bank checks or important documents!  i haven't tested them myself, but wanted to warn all ASAP!  That doesn't take away from so many uses for them!  I do balance my checkbook/ checking bank charges through  the month, as I always like a running balance and sometimes miss something, so can easily erase and fix.  Erasers better than most pencil erases any more!

I bought this pen for a wedding project, and was so impressed with it's ability to actually erase the ink. When the ink has had time to dry, it will fully erase the mark. Was and am still so impressed! Would definately purchase again.

This pen works good as a marker. It does not bleed through pages do it is safe for your planner.

Comes in a variety of colors. Erases easily but not completely on some colors which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I use these in my planner and they are perfect for that.
