Project Instructions

Pluffy™ Basic Instructions

Start with clean hands and work area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 130°C (275°F for US customers) for 15 minutes per 6mm (¼") of thickness. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT exceed the above temperatures or recommended baking time. Baking should be completed by an adult. Wash hands after use.

Flatten purple clay with the roller tool, trying to keep it as even as possible. With the knife tool cut a square, approximately 3"x3".

Flatten hot pink with the roller tool, trying to keep it as even as possible. With the knife tool cut a square, approximately 2½"x2½". Gently place as evenly as possible on top of the purple square.

Flatten pink clay with the roller tool, trying to keep it as even as possible. With the knife tool cut a square, approximately 2"x2". Place it on top of the hot pink square, turning it sideways.

Roll a thin coil of hot pink until it is approximately 1/8" in diameter. Flatten gently with your hands. Starting at one end, roll up gently until you have a small rose. Carefully cut the rolled rose from the snake of clay. Start rolling the snake again for a new rose. Repeat these steps until you have several roses (twenty-two roses were used in this example). Make an outline (with the cut roses) of a heart shape in the middle of the pink square; continue to fill the heart in with the remaining roses.

Roll a thin coil of hot pink until it is approximately 1/8" in diameter. Shape into two letter m’s. Continue to work with them, until you have the shape you like, set them on top of the pink square, on either side of the heart and flatten gently.

Flatten a small sheet of pink clay using the roller tool. Cut four small flower shapes out and place one on each corner of the purple base piece. Roll four small hot pink balls and push one into the middle of each pink flower.

Bake the clay according to the instructions above. Allow clay to cool.

When cooled completely, trim a piece of magnet to fit on the back, peel the backing off and attach magnet to the back.
