Project Instructions
Step 1 Cut piece of freezer paper a little larger than the size of the tote so it will overlap on all sides.
Step 2 On freezer paper, draw a 4"-4½" diameter circle on upper center of freezer paper. (To help, use plastic container lid or something comparable in size.)
Step 3 Refer to picture to position the remaining circles. Use templates to draw other circles on freezer paper measuring approximately 3½", 3¼", 2½" and 2¼".
Step 4 Use scissors to cut out drawn circles from freezer paper to create stencil.
Step 5 Position stencil on tote and iron waxy side down. Make sure edges of circles are well sealed.
Step 6 Place cardboard insert between layers of tote to keep paint from seeping through to other side.
Step 7 Test spray on paper towel and begin spraying the circles with the two colors. Spray one color or combine as desired. Let dry.
Step 8 Remove cardboard insert and freezer paper stencil.
Step 9 Use computer to print name in desired font in black ink onto copy paper. Enlarge to desired size to read across width of tote.
Step 10 Follow directions from ScreenIt™ for burning image to screen.
Step 11 Once the screen is ready to use, slip tote onto the foam base of the ScreenIt™ machine. Position screen onto tote and set in place.
Step 12 Using squeegee provided with ScreenIt™, apply Tulip Soft® paint as desired.
Step 13 Remove screen and wash screen immediately.
Step 14 Let tote dry.
