I am a day caregiver for little ones . I use the folding lap tray for them to eat on an store there crayons and paper inside. they love to be independent and have their own tray and I love how it folds up and store out of the way. Doesn’t take up much room.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old and love the color and how sturdy this lap desk is. The fact that it can fold down for storing when not in use and still hold contents inside the top is great. I was surprised by the amount of storage space under the top and that it’s not affected and everything is still secure when it’s folded down for storing. It’s very sturdy for what it is although folding the sides/legs back down for storage is a bit challenging and requires quite a bit of force, it’s understandable given how sturdy the desk is when in use. I’m not sure if they’re made to be opened and closed regularly or often but I do kind of worry that with a lot of use, the plastic will get weakened because of the amount of pressure needed to get the side leg panels to fold back down under the top for storing. Maybe this gets better with time as they get broken in, but for now I’m happy with it. I expected there to be some type of a “release” or fold type of pinch control to fold the legs back down for storage when not in use but that doesn’t appear to be the case. You just have to force the legs back down to store the desk flat. It’s super convenient though and doesn’t take up much space at all when in the stored position. Overall I recommend this and am happy with it. The bright hot pink color is great and my daughter loves it.
