The Crayola Metallic Markers are winners!! Very pretty, easy flowing on the paper. They shine perfectly with even markings as outlines or simple doodles, and are pretty smooth when making a solid colored object. They have a typical diameter for the barrel. The tips are very versatile, giving a tiny dot or thin line, a medium width, up to a regular marker width depending on the angle. I was able to produce 3 distinct thicknesses.  The marked color dries quickly and resists smudging, though you can get a nice faint color effect if you rub really hard, say on a doodled flower, on computer paper. With rubbing, you can get a faint fill of color. My only negative at all would be that the pink has a purple tint to it. It is still a pretty color and distinct from the purple. Oh and that the purple is not as reflective of light as the other colors, but is still beautiful.
