Sturdy box. Too small for me, but I gave it to someone who's thrilled

For the price I am disappointed.  It came dented and is very thin tin. It looks ok, but you are basically paying ao much because Derwent is stamped on it. Also you risk having all the items in the top portion spill when you try to get to the bottom section. Not worth it.

I work with colored pencils and bought this tin to hold some individual pencils that aren't part of my 24-pencil set.  It could just be a defect of the particular tin that I received, but the lid doesn't close securely and will not stay closed when held upside down. That said, I will be keeping this product because it seems hard to find a plain, empty pencil tin with as much space as this one.  A rubber band around the tin will keep it closed just fine.
