My hallway was in need of light and dragons, so this was the perfect addition to my dragon collection. The sconces are very detailed, sturdy, and beautiful! Shipping was very fast. Some information that buyers might find useful would be that the sconces don't come with the wood frame that is shown in the description, and also the light bulb is included. The description says, "your candelabra light bulb," which I thought meant that I had to buy one, so I went out and bought some candelabra (base) style bulbs before I got the sconces (I bought 2), the bulbs included did not have the candelabra style base; they had a medium base. Also, the bulbs that were included burned really hot; so I bought some medium based, LED bulbs, and they work perfectly! My hallway has never looked better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two sconces for a Christmas gift and they were ecstatic about them.  What I didn't like was the cord, the photo looks like they're hard wired which is what they want in a sconce but since they are building it was easy to do.  Details were phenomenal.

I wanted this by Halloween, but it was backordered for several weeks.  Once I un-boxed the product from the cheap Styrofoam, I have to say I was rather disappointed.  The item looks awesome in the catalog, but is really dark and hard to distinguish the intricate details.  The bulb also gets very hot quickly and the light does not disperse in a flattering way.  I will try other bulbs and see if I can resurrect and make the piece worthy on my wall.

Wow! The size is great. The color is not just a flat black but multi hues from dark gray to black. Amazed at the detail. Even the hanging setup is great, keeps it well stabilized and secure. Read one review where it was suggested of a mirror version for a matching set, now that would be a great idea.

I irdered two of these for my man cave. I really enjoy the look. Very well built as well as very detailed.

Very beautifully made and sturdy. It was a trifle darker than expected and needs to be in a well lit area in order not to seem like a dark shape on the wall, when the light inside the castle isn't on. It's rather spooky and cool when the light is on inside the turrent.

This is a beautiful wall piece, high quality, and brightly lit! I was afraid, when i ordered it, that it would include the wooden plaque, because of a previous review, but I guess they didn't actually buy the item before they reviewed it (?) and i think it more than meets expectations!

My review only reflects the desires of the gentleman from Toronto. When I first saw this (quickly) I thought it was only the wall sconce with a candle. Only after reading the review did I realize it was electric and therefore needs a power source. I don't want to have to rewire my home for this.

However, if a candle burning version was available without the wood plaque, I'd want a couple.
