[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our dog, to go in his designated digging area of the backyard. It is a hit! He loves it and it is so funny! It may be smaller than you are expecting (see photo for size reference next to our dog). It is made up of 3 separate pieces that fit together. We also bought the fire hydrant statue from Design Toscano for the doggie area of the yard, which we love and would recommend that too!!!

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson who is a dinosaur buff.  I placed it among the bushes, and we love it.  He hasn’t seen it but I took picture of it and send it to him.  He is still pondering if it’s real or not.

Excellent quality. I put it out on my trail on my property, and landscaped it that the bones were sticking out. I did not tell my 83 year old mother, who found it. She was excited that she found a fossil, and dug it up. She then was going to call a museum with her find. She called family members of her find. I discovered my Raptor was missing, and then I unfortunately had to tell her it was a Design Tuscano.

I am a program coordinator at our local park district. I am putting on an Archaeology Dig Oct. 1 for 24 kids, ages 7-10. I have 8 plots with 2 native American Indian artifacts, 2 mammal, 2 under the sea and 2 dinosaur plots. We have plenty of real fossils, mammal bones etc. where we live but the plastic dinosaur bones I found online were smaller than promised and when they arrived, I was very disappointed. I went online again and found your website with the standing raptor and the "buried" raptor skeletons. The description sounded fantastic so I immediately bought one. When I opened up the box I was ecstatic and quickly ordered a second. We had the ground tilled up for us and had to bury all the artifacts recently to give the ground time to get hard again. The kids who draw either of the dino plots are in for a big surprise. Thank you!!!

Everyone loves the raptor skeleton on the wall, especially as it appears to be pursuing as small human skeleton (not included) running ahead of it. The only difficulty was hanging it on the wall. The catalog says it's "flat back allows for optional wall hanging." That's true, but there is no hardware or holes drilled into the back. Drilling into the back can be done without too much difficulty, but then it is necessary to create a template from the holes in the back to make the nails in the wall align. This was not easy, since the sculpture is in three parts and must be face down (the not flat front that, of course, lays not flat) to make the template. Trying to hold three unstable pieces together, motionless, with one hand while holding the paper template still with the other hand and drawing marks to match the holes with your third hand was, well, don't try this when you're home alone.... But it's up and we love it. But it would be helpful if hanging it was easier.

I recently purchased the Raptor Skeleton Garden Statue for my son (a long time dinosaur fan), in Arizona. He placed it in the soil in his flower garden and it is almost too realistic looking. He informed me that the quality is excellent. Much weightier than might be expected.
