No idea how to make this work can see nothing but black and occasionally a small circle of light but impossible to view anything. Not sure if this item is frequently damaged in transport as lots of reviews seem to say the same. Hoping I can get some help.

My little boy just turned 5, and loves a game of 'I spy...', with this explorer scope we were able to take this to the next level! Haha! He found the scope easy to hold, and physically it is pretty robust, which is great for a boisterous child! The only flaw I found is that unless the thing he was 'spying' was just the right distance away it could appear slightly blurred, and he is yet to have the patience to get it in focus. Four stars

Waste of money. My daughter was so excited to use it only to see a yellow spot, yes a yellow spot. I paid over $200 to see a yellow spot. So disappointed.

The Geosafari Jr Explorer Scope is visually very appealing. Bright colours and the robust nature of it together with the handy strap makes it a desirable and piece of equipment to any youngster who is inquisitive about the world around them. We loved its dual use as a pair of binoculars and as a microscope to see close up images. Children can easily switch between the two by sliding the viewing area in and out. It took my son a while to get use to viewing images and he did get a little frustrated trying to use them. It's a shame the quality of the image isn't that great as they are such a lovely looking piece of kit from the outset.

Bought for gift. There is a yellow film like gel that covers eye pieces. Can't clear it and can't use. Disappointing Xmas gift

Bought this for my grandson. He was very excited to get this. But we were all disappointed that we could only see a yellow color thru them. no objects at all. the concept is great which makes it so disappointing.
