I absolutely love the creative way of using color pencils and a paint brush to make colors darker or lighter. It comes with 2 designs and a map of what to color. There is also a hanger included to display your wall art. Plus the stickers are a nice touch.

My 9 year old loved the watercolor portion and it turned out so cute. My 5 year old had a little bit of a hard time knowing what colors to use since she can't read, but loved the characters in the picture. The paper itself was a good thickness for being two sided and they loved that it came with a hanger to display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This activity set is perfect for my 8 year old daughter.  She loves paint by numbers ! She lasts endless hours trying to finish her little paintings. They come out looking very pretty. This is perfect to keep your little one entertained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I had a fun time doing this paint by number kit together. We took turns coloring each number until it was done. Once the actual coloring is done you use the wet paintbrush to turn the colored pencil into watercolor which gives it a fun look. If you use too much water, the colors will bleed a little though. The numbers for the colors are printed on a separate paper so you have to look back and forth to find where exactly to color. I like that because it doesn't show a number on the final print. This activity will likely take over an hour to complete one side. The only downside was that the picture was double sided, so only one single paper with an image on both sides instead of two separate papers. When it's all painted, you can hang it with the hanger that's included to make a cute little art piece. My daughter really enjoyed this craft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 7 and he loves arts and crafts and painting. This paint by numbers was the coolest gift. He had to focus on finding numbers to get the colors right and he loved adding water to the pencils after he colored everything in and watch it magically come together. I also appreciate the lighter and darker sections of the paper had to be achieved with lighter or harder strokes which taught him a new technique. I highly recommend this to a budding artist thats 4-8 years old. Its a perfect gift!

Big enough coloring spaces for younger kids. Colors are great. Would recommend for a nice little project to keep kids busy

I watched a few how-to videos on YouTube and got quite a few tips, like what paint brushes to buy (turns out none of the kits include a great brush), a paint flow aid (but you can use water instead), a white paint pen to block out mistakes (I made a lot!!) and the numbers under the lighter paint colors, etc. It turned out beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to be able to try it this Paint by Numbers Wall Art made by Faber-Castell. I homeschool my son who is 7 and we love doing all kinds of crafts each day for fun and we also do them for our fun at classes. So when I got this, I figured it would be the perfect way to get him watercoloring without the big huge mess!
The product arrived at my home super fast once it was supposed and on the way. I was honestly surprised at how well it was packaged considering that it wasn't shipped in a box. Everything arrived in perfect condition. 
As for the paint by numbers art itself, it's got super adorable prints to choose from and loved that it came with a magnetic hanger bar so you could hang up your paintings when you're done with them. I wish they would've included more colors in the pencils. I loved the idea of the paint being in the pencils. Definitely saved on the making a huge mess part. My son enjoyed coloring the pictures but he did want to use regular coloring pencils and I had to explain why he couldn't if he wanted the whole picture to look watercolored. He did not like having to take teeny tiny paint brush and try to paint each colored area with the water & trying not to mix the colors making it look bad. He got pretty upset when they would mix. Even a tad bit of a drop of water coming off ruined a spot of his picture and he didn't want to finish it. 
All in all this product isn't really for children my son's age because it is a tedious task going back and "painting" it with the little included brush. Older kids would love this though. I know I loved my painting once I got it done. I think adults and older children both would love doing these as well. I do recommend getting this. It is fun & relaxing & very enjoyable to do. Plus it's super cute and looks great on the wall when you're done!
