This Recollections 3-ring Scrapbook Album gave me the most flexability and archival-rated materials for assembling and displaying precious family photos. I had items from 8×10s down to 1×1 pix from the 1940s. Because I wanted to preserve accessibility to the handwriting and annotations on the backs of many photos, and because my collection had an extraordinary variation in picture size, I mounted each page on Recollections Clear Vellum 8×10 pages, and affixed the pictures in place with their Double-sided Mounting Squares. These pages were then easily slipped into the Saffiano Album, where anyone could access the backs of pictures without removing the pages or disturbing the photos. And I was able to reorder the finished collection by date and topic, as the best page sequence became apparent. In addition, I was able to purchase additions pages to expand beyond the original 50 sleeves (which ordinarily provides 100 pages for display). This album comes in a very classy variety of durable cover colors. After considering various album solutions, I chose the Recollections Saffiano D-ring Album and am very pleased with its flexibility, its archival quality, and its suitability to our family's purpose. Perfect size books and love the D-ring to keep pages flat.  Easier size to store than the larger ones.

The family scrapbooker

This album is exactly what I needed for family photo scrapbooks. My only issue is the 3-rings are too light weight.  The top ring especially doesn't clasp tightly together, causing the top of page to come loose and holding 50 fully loaded pages puts a lot of strain on the rings. This isn't an isolated problem. I've bought 6 albums and they're all the same.

Loads of versatility here. The acid/PVC-free inserts are sturdy. The top loading full page holds various sizes for scrapping. Photos can be included. Or would make a perfect cook book for all those online recipe print-outs!  Love the purchase.

The quality of this photo album is excellent. All of the edges, internal rings etc are very well put together with no gaps. The binder rings open easily. I loved this binder the first time I bought it for a memory album so much I recently purchased a second identical album. The binder is well worth the price charged.
