It was outrageously expensive and came with missing hardware. The quality of the leather was sub par. At least it was cut straight. I like it after i dyed it.

Needed to be resized and leather was a bit dry so took dye uneven. But all together a great starter kit and worked well for tooling/carving.

I purchased this kit a couple months ago and and took some time to work on it.  It's a nice kit and fun to do even if you aren't familiar with leather working.  I didn't do any engraving on mine since this is my first time crafting with leather so I used some leather paints I purchased on it.  The good part about this leather is that you can use tracing paper on it to trace your design onto it to make it easier to decorate.  It's also easy to lace up when you're all done with it so no extra tools required.  I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it's a one-size-fits-all so it's a little loose on my arms and there's also a problem with it having a fold in it from where it was folded in half in the package that I haven't been able to get out.  The backside of the leather feels rough on my arm so I had to add some fabric to the back of it for comfort.
