When increased flow and absorption and decreased film tension and friction are important, this fluid additive is an artist's best friend. It improves the flow, absorption and blending of any water-soluble paint, medium, ink or dye while simultaneously minimizing brush marks and reducing the friction of paint. On non-absorbent surfaces, it increases fluidity and open time, and on absorbent surfaces, it acts as a stain, dye or watercolor when use with acrylic colors.
