I’m glad I bought this easel on sale because the $400+ price tag does NOT justify the quality of the product. It is a very nice easel, but the locking mechanisms to keep it locked in at a certain angle are not very good. They are barely able to stay locked now. I can only imagine that over time they will become inoperable and useless. Also, the box that the easel came in was basically destroyed at both ends, and some of the pieces (i.e. bolts) were missing, which wasn’t a big deal because I had extras, but if other parts had been missing that we’re specific to this product, then I would probably have to call Michaels to send me replacement parts.
