As a long-time user of Mod Podge on my clock projects, I was delighted to see this “Ultra Matte” version available. I used “Matte” exclusively but it still added some shine to the surface. Ultra Matte has fixed that, it’s invisible on my paint work and helps protect the acrylic paint surfaces from fingerprints. I’ll be buying a lot more of this glaze.

This really is MORE matte than regular 'matte mod podge'. If you already own the regular version, and need something more, this one is worth while to get. It applies just like all the other mod podges, and the finish is very smooth and dull, exactly how you need. It's still flexible, and goes well on semi-soft plastic toys. With the right paint underneath it, it gives a bit of a satin-finish look--very interesting. I would definitely recommend this, another hit from ModPodge.
