For a few years I've been watching my peers in Leather Craft use a nice piece of canvas and a little water to do some of the best burnishing I've ever seen right along the edge of the leather. So nice in fact that they've given up all other burnishing tools in favor of the canvas. I deserve to have my leather edges beautifully burnished as well, I just needed some canvas.
A Michaels associate noticed I was on the hunt for something and she made her way over to me where I was flipping through an assortment of cotton & linen bandanas because it seemed reasonable that 'canvas bandanas' were a thing. Aisle after aisle we walked so I can't be positive but I believe she said quietly that "nobody would make such a thing". Or, I thought, Michaels could have sold out of the canvas headkerchiefs that very day for all we know! 
At this point I'm thinking we're lost... I can't even see the bandana area anymore. Thankfully that was when she pointed at a row of canvas tubes and quietly told me that here is where I would find the canvas! She hadn't even caught her breath before she was off again to help another lost crafting person.
When I located the Loops & Threads Canvas Roll I felt like a million bucks. I could have just as easily ordered what I wanted online and waited in the car for someone to hand deliver it to me. And that's cool too, but I hate to think of a world in which that adventure never happened to me right? Because all I remember from the day before the Michaels Extreme Aisle Passing Extravaganza was doggie paddling in primordial soup
