Purchased along with several other bristle brushes, these are the only brushes I found for making realistic trees with a "tapping" technique for leaves. The bristles are stiff enough to leave small blots of paint.

This is one of several bristle brushes that I bought for working with acrylic paint. They are wonderful for a "tapping" technique that I saw online and tried myself that makes trees and leaves very realistic. Only the bristle brush worked for this. My nylon brushes were not up to the task. :-)
