I purchased this magnetic tape for a small project I had. I applied 2 strips of the tape as directed. I placed my finished object (wood)  on a magnetic source, and the next morning found it on the floor. I was fortunate it wasn't ceramic , so nothing broke. While my object was not heavy, the two strips of tape did not support the small weight of my project. I had to use hot glue to keep the tape in place. I think the glue on the back of this tape needs to be stronger in order to hold a project securely.

Not the best product I've used. They are hard to flatten out, and when you try sometimes the magnet cracks. They also don't stick very well at all. I had to use these in conjunction with hot glue to get them to work. If you need to just use small section that would probably be more effective. We used these for perler bead projects to turn them into fridge magnets. The magnetic pull was strong enough to use for the fridge (just make sure you use a larger piece or multiple pieces for larger projects).

TTL DIY

The Pro MAG Magnetic Tape offers functional magnetism but falls short in adhesion on textured walls. The magnets themselves perform well, and cutting the tape is a breeze. It adheres smoothly to smooth surfaces but struggles with textured walls. A thicker foam tape option would enhance its versatility.

To everyone saying it's not sticky: technically this is true because apparently the sticky backing sticks to the backing paper but NOT the magnet. So when you unwind it and peel the backing paper, the sticky part gets stuck to the paper and peels off the magnet, removing all adhesive. So there is a sticky backing, but it isn't really double sided to stick to the magnet... Very weird and an obvious manufacturing flaw. The magnet itself is fine so long as what you're trying to hold isn't very heavy. Just get some glue for the magnet part and it works fine

Good adhesive, good magnetism.  Since it is sold in a roll, the ends tend to curl up unless pressure for 24 hours is put on the item to "cure" the adhesive.  I used a heavy book.
